The Ridgetop, Crossplains, and Madison Church has a sister church in Mataquescuintla(Colis), Guatemala. The church began in 2017 as a home church and has grown to almost 70 baptized members. PRAISE GOD!!!
Through generous donations and much prayer, land has been purchased, bathrooms built, and electricity and water connected to the land. The foundation has been completed and building will begin soon on the church/school.
Recently, through a school program initiative ,where children are sponsored to attend a local church school and as part of the program attend church each week, young Sofia started Bible studies. She was soon baptized and her mother started attending with her--soon after her mother was baptized. Now her father is attending church and studying the Bible. Please pray that he will soon make the lifelong commitment to live and serve the Lord also.
Amondo and Sofia are the Bible workers in Colis that are lovingly supported by the churches here. They study with an average of 30 families each week and run the local church.
